Agreement

By using Toukie, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

Use of Toukie

Toukie is provided for personal, non-commercial French learning. You agree to use Toukie lawfully and not misuse, interfere with, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app, website, accounts, data, or connected systems.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Learning Content and AI Feedback

Toukie provides vocabulary, verb, sentence, audio, review, and AI feedback features for education. We work to keep content useful and accurate, but learning content and AI-generated grading or feedback may contain mistakes. You should use your own judgment and not rely on Toukie as professional, academic, legal, or immigration advice.

Subscriptions

Toukie may offer free and paid features. Paid subscriptions unlock the features shown at purchase, such as expanded limits or premium feedback. Prices, features, trials, and limits may change, but changes will not reduce access you have already paid for during the current subscription period unless required for legal, security, or technical reasons.

Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another purchase provider shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal through the relevant app store or provider. Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are handled by the provider used for purchase, subject to its terms.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Toukie to submit unlawful, harmful, abusive, hateful, infringing, deceptive, or sensitive personal information; bypass usage limits; share accounts; automate requests; probe security; or disrupt the service. We may apply rate limits or other protections to prevent misuse.

Intellectual Property

Toukie, including its app, website, design, lessons, text, audio, images, software, trademarks, and other materials, is owned by Toukie or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use Toukie as allowed by these Terms.

Your Content

You keep ownership of content you submit, such as practice answers or support messages. You give Toukie permission to process that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service, including generating AI feedback where applicable.

Changes and Availability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Toukie. We try to keep the service available and useful, but we do not guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or error-free.

Account Deletion and Termination

You may delete your account in the app or contact support. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for Toukie or others, or if we are required to do so. Deleting your Toukie account does not automatically cancel an active app store subscription; you must cancel it through the purchase provider.

Disclaimers

Toukie is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toukie will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or service interruption. Our total liability for any claim relating to Toukie is limited to the amount you paid to Toukie for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

App Stores

If you download Toukie through Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store's terms. The app store provider is not responsible for Toukie, support, claims, or content except as required by its own terms or applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Toukie is established, unless consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive authority to resolve disputes, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of Toukie after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
